Male chauvinism is sexual prejudice consisting of a set of attitudes and practices which are mostly unconscious and reflect discrimination and devaluing of the female sex by classifying women as inferior and not very capable.
Since it does not have any scientific foundations, it considered a social construct. It is learned through socialization processes and, therefore, can also be unlearned.
